1.1 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional who will play a key role in embedded software development and software quality.
This person should have:
• Hands-on software development knowledge and experience REQUIRED
o 4-6 years of C/C++ programming on embedded microprocessor development REQUIRED
o 1-3 years as senior or lead developer on embedded system development REQUIRED
o Experience with ARM, TI, PIC 16/32 bit REQUIRED ( any 2)
o Excellent working experience with RFIDs and protocols- UART, I2C, SPI. REQUIRED
o Experience with any RTOS is desired. DESIRED
• End-to-end embedded product software development experience REQUIRED
• Experience creating and running white box, gray box, and black box test plans REQUIRED
• Exposure to at least any one software development process standards like CMMI, six-sigma or ISO. REQUIRED
• Understanding of US FDA quality regulations 21CFR part 820, 21 CFR Part 11 and compliance to ISO 13485 standards DESIRED
• Experience with being part of design verification & validation activities DESIRED
• Able to understand interdependencies and relationships among many software components and between several software products REQUIRED
• Interacts internally/externally on a daily basis to achieve department/work unit goals and initiatives DESIRED
• Able to handle multiple telephonic calls/conferences DESIRED
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) REQUIRED
• Detailed oriented with the ability to debug complex software issues REQUIRED
1.2 DESIRED PROFILE
Education:
• B.Tech/B.Sc./B.E/M.Tech/MS.-Electrical Engineering, Electronics
• Experience: 4 - 6 years in software development for embedded systems
• Learns and understands information quickly
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately.
• Must be able to analyze and correct complex product and/or process issues using independent judgment.
